The UK decided to send warships in the direction of Guyana and Venezuela. The warship is the offshore patrol vessel HMS Trent. The UK said they want to protect their former colony the Common Wealth nation of Guyana.

Britain’s decision to dispatch a warship to Guyana breaches the “spirit” of the agreement to resolve the Essequibo dispute peacefully and will be met with “defensive action”. This is what the Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said on Thursday 28th December 2023.
Why would the UK be doing this? Guyana and Venezuela sat down at a table together along with Brazil as a mediator. They decided to solve this situation peacefully thourgh negotiations and dialogue. Both sides said they don’t want war and they decided to solve the dispute diplomatically. This was decided on, two weeks ago. The UK said no. That is not good enough for the UK. Now the UK decided to send warships to stirrup trouble.
What is with the government in the UK and 10 Downing Street? Why are they like this? They sent Boris Johnson (BOJO) to Kiev, Ukraine to sabotage a ceasefire in the conflict in Ukraine. Now they are sending a warship to Guyana towards Venezuela in order to sabotage a peace process there.
