South African Lawmakers have voted for the embassy of Israel to be closed down in their country. Yes, South Africa has had enough.
The Cease fire
They asked Israel to a cease fire for the people of Gaza to breath a little bit. Especially the people in Gaza, who have nothing to do with the war and attacks. People who have never carried weapon or killed in their life. These people right now are suffering. Israel has refused to stop.
The Parliamentarians and The Israeli Embassy
The lawmakers of South Africa, the parliamentarians have come together to push a motion to close the embassy of Israel.
South African lawmakers on Tuesday voted in favor of a motion to close the Israeli Embassy in the capital Pretoria and suspend diplomatic ties with Tel Aviv.
These is a very bold move. Absolutely bold. Because African countries don’t react like this for the most part, to such countries as Israel. They don’t even dare, to do such.
The motion, introduced last week by the third-largest opposition party, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), was debated in the National Assembly, with 248 lawmakers voting in favor, while 91 opposed it.
248 number of people against 91. That is a big number.
The main opposition Democratic Alliance (DA), African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP), and several other parties voted against the motion.
The Opposing Party
These opposition parties are predominantly White people. They voted against the motion. Let me remind you that South Africa is a country that went through Apartheid. Where black people and white people did not mingle. Today they can be friends. Though there are still residues of all these difficulties they have been through.
South African Proposal to Mediate
South Africa, actually proposed to mediate between Israel and Palestine. Because South Africa as a strong friendship relationship with the people of Gaza and Palestine. Israel refused this proposal.
“The Israeli Embassy should remain closed until they agree to a cease-fire,” ANC chief whip in parliament Pemmy Majodina said on Tuesday.
Cease fire is necessary. Cease fire is need so that the people can eat, breath and also treat their wounded.
South Africa recently withdrew all of its diplomats from Tel Aviv for consultation over Israel’s ongoing assault in Gaza.
South Africa Recalls Diplomat from Tel Aviv
South Africa had to recall its diplomats from Tel Aviv because the Israeli government was violating international law. By bombing hospitals, schools etc.. The Israeli Military were committing all this crimes.

“Genocide under the watch of the international community cannot be tolerated. Another holocaust in the history of humankind is not acceptable. ” Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni told reporters.
Things are heating up between South Africa and Israel. The South African president will have the final say of if the Embassy will be closed or not.
South Africa Accused of Sending Weapons to Russia
There was a time when South Africa was Accused of sending weapons to Russia. Some people in the African country accused the president of these. Especially the Democratic Alliance. They said if the president is aware of a boat sending weapons to Russia, then he is guilty of war crimes. If he is not aware, then he is not capable as a president of South Africa.
ANC Mandela’s Party
Let me put it this way. The ANC is a political party of Nelson Mandela in South Africa. The ANC is friends with Russia. The ANC party has a lot of black people in it. The Democratic Alliance, which is white people in majority is friends with Ukraine. So it is very clear that everybody is looking for their own interest. How come South Africa as a country don’t have the same voice.
Do you think the people of Gaza deserve a little bit of consideration, especially the people that have done absolutely nothing in harming Israel?
Which other African country will be ready to do exactly what South Africa Lawmakers just did?
Let me put this into context. This Israeli assault on Gaza is not a religious war. It is not a war between Christians and Muslims. After all the Israelis are not Christians.
