After the independence, on August 3^rd 1960, France left the country. Many experts belief that the France leaving was a façade. The French officially left the country. But, unofficially they were still in Niger. The French ran the businesses, and the economy of Niger.

The currency being used today in Niger is being printed in France. The currency is West African CFA Franc. It is being used across Franco-phone countries in Africa. Even though France printed the currency, France does not accept it to be used in France.

The Seemingly Unending Terrorism in Niger

The Niger government kicked out the French troops out of the country. This French came to Niger, supposedly to fight terrorism. The terrorism seemed to be unending. Even with the presence of the French troops. Ten (10) year later from then, America came to Niger supposedly to have an eye on terrorist. But the terrorist still seem not to be ending in any time. The Niger people’s government realized the presence of this foreign troops in the country is useless and needless.

Now. Between the Niger government and American government, there are claims that the Americans accused Niger of selling Uranium to Iran. Yes, couple of days ago the Niger prime minister went to Iran to have a discussion on cooperation and collaboration. That was how this accusation come about.

Niger Breaking Ties with The American Government

The Niger government made it clear to the American. They made it clear, that the Americans cannot decide for Niger who to be friends with and also who not to do business with. Irrespective of how powerful America is. Based on this, the Niger government decided to break its ties with the American government.

The Unseen Hand of Russia in Niger and Africa at Large

There are speculations that Russia has a hand in this. Especially in the way African countries are freeing themselves from these no good Western powers. Western powers that are bent on keeping African in poverty for them (Western power) to remain rich.

America’s Negotiation with Niger, Disguised as Threats

A delegation from America went to Niger. They went there to negotiate with the Niger government. This negotiation from the Americans was claimed to be in the form of a threat from the Americans. The Niger Government still maintained its stance, that the Americans should leave the country. They are no longer welcome. One general said the repercussion could be drastic if the Niger government refuse to allow the Americans to remain in Niger.

The question is this. By repercussion, does the general mean that there will be more terrorist attack in Niger. Due to the absence of the Americans. Or are there going to be more problems for Niger. Problems such are an orchestrated regime change by the Americans.

Niger also has accused America of flying over the Niger airspace without permission. Niger is asking the question. How genuine are the Americans and their collaboration? How trustworthy are the Americans?
