niger (femioke blog)

Hello friends. Do you remember Niger. Niger is the largest country in West Africa. But about 80% of the land lies within the Sahara desert. It is a lovely place and very hot indeed. Niger is the fastest growing economy in the world right now. Congratulations to Niger.

How France was cheating Niger

Now what happened exactly. Niger used to sell a lot of uranium to France and France set the price. France set the price on the basis that they colonized Niger and taught them how to speak French.

How Niger became the fastest growing economy in the world

Niger for some of you who don’t know. The military there topped the then president, Mohamed Bazoum. After topping the president, they changed the price of uranium. Uranium for you of you who don’t know, it is used for nuclear power and electricity. Niger sold most of it’s uranium to France exclusively. France used the uranium to produce electricity and sold some of the electricity to countries in Europe. Meanwhile Niger lived with no electricity back home. The military government took over power and kicked out the government that was not working for the people. Now Niger has become the fastest growing economy in the world. Congratulation once again to Niger. Now more helping people because they taught you how to speak French.

Unfortunately, Niger is still one of the poorest country in the world. But definitely one of the fastest growing economy.

Let talk about Mali

MAli is a country in africa (femioke blog)

Now we will talk about Mali. Do you remember Mali. It is a beautiful place. You see Africa is a big continent. It has 54 countries with different languages and different cultures. If you have not been to Africa, I encourage you to come. You will love it.

Mali signing a contract with Russia about developing a refinery of gold production

Mali sign contract with Russia (femioke blog)

Ok. What happened with Mali? Mali has just signed a contract with who? They signed a contract with Russia about developing a refinery of gold for production. Because Mali has lots of gold.

How Mali suffer without refinery

Mali gold export (femioke blog)

Unfortunately for many many years, like many other African countries, Mali will take the gold and send to Europe or any other country for refining. While impoverishing the people in the Mali. Now Russia is willing to come to Mali and construct a refinery with money in order to produce gold for the people.

Why Mali, Burkina, and Niger resorted to military coup

Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger were tired of their president. Because the presidents seem to be working for their own interest and interest of foreign nations.

Mali, burkina faso and niger (femioke blog)

How and why People of Mali were very impoverished

Malian people were very impoverished, while the country had so much gold. The gold obviously was sent to other countries. Now the malians have chosen to create their own refinery. Many years before that the gold was exported to France and many other European countries where the gold will be refined and produced for consumption. Now how does that affect the country. The host country where you get the mineral from will definitely be impoverished. But a refinery in Mali, means more jobs for malians and more exportees for malians. It means knowledge for malians. It creates a growing economy for mali.

African timber (femioke blog)

Emphasizing The importance of refinery in africa

This is one of the biggest deal with many African countries. Whether it is Cameron or Gabon etc… these countries have a lot of timber, trees. They have to take their trees and send it to Europe. That is where the trees, will be refined. Is that acceptable? It is not! Then at the end of the day. They have to order a furniture from coming from Dubai. In spite of fact that you have all the trees, roots and timber in the world. The problem of many african countries that have raw materials is that they do not have refineries to actually finish the products and export. Investors come into these countries, they take the raw materials to whichever countries they take it to. Then they come and sell it back the the raw material countries at a very inflated price.

African Coco (femioke blog)

Look at Ghana and Ivory Coast . They are the largest producers of coco in the world. But they buy their chocolate, coming from Germany, France and Belgium. All this because there is no refinery in these African countries.

African Lithium (femioke blog)
African Lithium

So these investor come to your country. They set the price because you have no refinery. Africans have no refinery for lithium, cobalt etc.. . So what are they going to do with it. So when you don’t have refinery and the technology, what happens? Who ever has the refinery and the knowledge will come to you and say they will pay the price they want to pay for your raw material. Else what are you going to do with you raw material.

Mali tuareg terrorist (femioke blog)
Mali Tuareg Terrorist

Now Mali has made a very big decision in involving Russia. There is something very interesting to this story. You know a couple of days ago, Kidal a big city in northern Mali, was freed by the Malian military. After French military was unable to kick out all the terrorist. For many many years, Kidal was controlled by this terrorist. Some people believe that the terrorist are actually sponsored be France. In order for France to take illegally the the gold in Mali. Because if France come openly for the gold, they will have to pay tax and go through policies. Kicking out the terrorist had a critical part to play in the signing of the contract to create refinery in Mali. Big congratulation to the Malian people!

South Africa, Refinery and Apartheid

Apart from South Africa, many African countries do not have refineries. It is very sad. South Africa is very different. Because many African countries were looted. Europeans came to African countries to steal and go. In Nigeria, Ghana, Burundi, Congo etc.., they came to steal and go. In South Africa, unlike many African countries, the Europeans came to stay.

apartheid (femioke blog)

They firmly believed that they were coming to stay for ever and stay in power for ever. That was the initiative of the Europeans building good infrastructure in South Africa. And also perpetuating the apartheid. Which was a government that was separatist, separating blacks from white.

Europeans Only (femioke blog)

The government back then was run by a specific group of people that believed they were superior to the black race. It was in 1994 that the country South Africa actually became free. It was the beginning where the black and whites could mingle together, have a good time together and live together. This is one of the reason why South Africa is far advance to many African countries. In many African countries, you will see good road only from the mines to the ports. Why? Because clearly they came to steal from the mine and take it to the port of the country. In South Africa, that was not the case. The refineries in South Africa were built to profit the white people who live in South Africa.

Lithium, Refinery and Africa

elon musk (femioke blog)

Countries like Nigeria where Elon Musk came for lithium. Because lithium is needed for electric cars. You Elon Musk is the owner of Tesla. He wanted to came and take the lithium. But the Nigerian government said to him

You can come for the lithium, provide you build a lithium refinery stationed in Nigeria

Guess what. Elon refused to accept to build a refinery in Nigeria.

zimbabwe president (femioke blog)
zimbabwe president

The same thing happened in Zimbabwe. The president asked for lithium refinery from the Europeans. They refused. He turned to the Chinese and got it built. The same thing are happening in Uganda with respect to the oil.

So clearly Africans are waking up. They are understanding the way to greatness and to better life. This is Industry to provide jobs for the people.

So let me know how you feel about this.
