How United Stated Held its Influence in Africa for Raw Materials.
Africans were finally ready to kick colonial rulers out of their territory. But there was a problem. The problem was , even though the European powers new they had to leave Africa after world war II, world power like the United States wanted to keep their influence in Africa. This was for them to have access to African continent raw materials.
United State Causing Coup and Civil War in Africa
There was only one way for America to have this influence. That is achieved by making sure whoever comes to power in any African country is obedient to American power. The Americans sometimes cause military coup and civil wars in Africa for this selfish interest.
Kissinger-CIA & The Angola War
The Independence of Angola
This fact leads us to the topic of the Angolan 27 year war. On Tuesday 11th November 1975, Angola got her independence from Portugal. This independence only came after many years of battle against the colonial rulers.
This battle was led by three important groups in Angola. First you have The People’s Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA).
Second, you have The National Liberation Front of Angola (FNLA).
Third, you have The National Union for The Total Independence of Angola (UNITA).
Even though these three groups fought for a united goal of independence for Angola. Immediately, they got independence it became obvious that they were different groups. For example MPLA were Marxist. While UNITA and FNLA were capitalist in ideology.
How The CIA Sided with FNLA
World power like the US wanted to keep their influence on Angola.
We hear from John Stockwell the chief of the CIA Angola task force. He explained has the CIA sided with the FNLA, headed by Roberto.
Henry Kissinger
This then lead us to Henry Kissinger. He became the National Security Advisor to to the US president Richard Nixon in January 20 1969. Four years later in 1973 he became Secretary of State.
Guardian News Report on Kissinger
According to Guardian News report, America usually ignore most of the things that went on in Africa. But when Kissinger became security adviser, he became the man who shaped the US foreign policy from 1969 to 1976. That the exact time the Angola war started.
Kissinger and the US were worried that if in Angola a political party that is Marxist in ideology become the leader, such political party will become a closer friend to the Soviet Union and and not to the United State. In other word, this will mean United State will not have influence on the Angolan resources nor the political situation of such country.
US President Letter to Nigerian Head of State
On Saturday 3rd of January 1976, the American president Gerald Ford, wrote a letter and sent it to a Nigerian Head of State. Some how this letter made it to the press and was published on page 6 of the New York Times. In this letter American president made it clear that a socialist party will not be allowed to reign in Angola.
US Sent Weapons, War Planes and American Pilots to Angola
From then onwards US weapons were pouring into Angola to support FNLA. Weapons worth around 50 million dollars. They not only spent money, they also sent war planes piloted by American air force to Angola. We all know that this is not what you do when there is civil war in another country.
Let us look at this closely. Assuming there is a civil war in your own country, any country for example. Because America is supporting a particular group in that your country, is sending millions of dollars to that group. But not just that, is also sending American pilots into your war front. As if it is America’s own war. Can you see the above written illustration.
United States Mercenaries in Angola.
Weapons America supplied in that Angolan war was used on behalf of the American CIA. Not only that, United States mercenaries also fought in that Angolan war. As you know US is criticizing the Russian mercenaries that are fighting in Ukraine. This is one example of there double standard.
How Kissinger Lied to Congress to Justify his War in Angola
All of these was going on because a single man thought it the right thing to do. This man was no other than Henry Kissinger. To justify his actions, He told the American people that The United State was forced to intervene in Angola. This man lied to the American people and to American congress to justify his war in Angola.
Statistics of Dead and Dis-placed Persons of the Angolan War
That lie was what led to 27 years of bloodshed. 25 million africans were killed in this war. 3.5 million people ran away from their homes. 86,000 people became handicaps. This are the figures we can see and count. Only God knows the real actual figure.
South Africa’s Protest Against Kissinger
This Angolan war was not just the only war these Devils started in Africa. In 1975 black South Africans protested with this poster below. This protest was after 140 black high school students were killed be Kissingers NATO.
Kissinger’s Evil in Other African Countries
You can do your research and find out about Kissingers EVIL in Ethiopia, Mozambique, and many other African countries. This Kissinger did not just do his Evil in Africa. For in 1973 Israeli protesters carried this poster shown below.
It says ,
In Egypt it is Kissinger. In Israel it is KILLINGER.
In 1974, Greek protesters carried this posted shown below. It says
Kissinger you have won Noble prize for Murder.
All around the world, Kissinger was known for causing war and killing innocent people. He enjoyed the pain and agony of which ever country America had interest. I am sure he smiles where ever he sees dead bodies. He probable even swims in their blood.
Every single person in the corridor of power knows how evil this evil man is. They say he is one of the most destructive Secretaries of State in the History of United States of America.
Did Kissinger pay any price for all his evil deeds? Absolutely NO! Why? Because he did it for the king of this world.
