Brief History on Niger

For many years it was colonized by the French, the way they colonized many other African nations. They speak French as a national language instead of their own local language. That is very sad, but that is the situation. So in the 1960s, French people decided to leave the country. Officially the country got independence. But unofficially it can not be called independence. Because France ran the economy of Niger, after the fake independence.

The Abolished Law in Niger

EUROPEANS ARE SHOCKED BY NIGER ( femioke blog )

Niger has done something really really amazing. The Niger president has abolished a law that was voted in 2015. This law basically say,

Who ever came to Niger Illegally in order to go to Europe must be arrested and condemned from two to ten years imprisonment and 500 euros to be paid.

You know many or some Africans want to go to Europe, hoping to get a better life. Because Africa is not good enough for them.

They want to go to European countries like France, even though France has a lot of homeless persons on the street. The law says

If anybody from Niger help anybody from another country illegally from crossing the country going to whichever country in the north, in order to cross to Europe. Even the Niger citizen will be condened from two years to ten years imprisonment.

Who Financed the Abolished Law in Niger

Now the above law has been abolished. Basically what happen was, the European Union financed Niger at that time. That was why the law existed and that was with the previous president, Mohamed Bazoum.

In other words, you received a lot of money from the European Union in order to help the European Union keep Africans off Europe.

They don’t want Africans in their continent. They sponsored Niger To control Africans. The Also use NGOs to control Africans from getting into their continent. We know Morocco gets money from Spain. To do that.

What is Human Trafficking?

Now why has Niger abolished the law? Good Question. The Europeans financed many African countries to pass such laws a under the pretext of human trafficking. Let us put it into context. What exactly is human trafficking. Human trafficking involves harming somebody. But in this context, what the Europeans term human trafficking is you as a host allowing foreign national to cross your country to the next one. They always manipulate words to suit their goal. More like shifting the goal post.

Why did Niger Abolish This law

Back to the question of why the Niger government abolish this law. It is very simple.

Niger decided to repeal the law in response to the position taken by the European Union against the July 26 coup. The support to the extremely harsh sanction announced by ECOWAS and the cause for the return of the ousted President Mohammed Bazoum played part in abolishing the law.

Niger and Uranium

We can not talk about this country, without talking about uranium. You see Niger has a great volume of uranium. Uranium is a raw material used in nuclear plant for production of electricity. France bought the majority of the uranium from Niger. France used it to produce electricity for the French people and also had more than enough to sell to neighboring European countries. Meanwhile Niger did not have electricity of its own. Niger had to buy electricity for its own use from Nigeria.

Niger and Nigeria are two different countries. But are also neighbors.

Reason for the Coup in Niger

Many year down the line the people of Niger were fed up and a coup manifested. Mohammed Bazoum was topped by his own guard from being president. Fortunately for Mohammed Bazoum he was not harmed.

Why ECOWAS Could Not Attack Niger

When Mohammed Bazoum was kicked off power, countries of West Africa all stood against Niger. They insisted that Mohammed Bazoum must be re-instated into power. The 15 countries of West Africa (ECOWAS) were ready to use force against Niger to re-instated Mohammed Bazoum into power. These 15 countries were ready to attack. Not until Mali and Burkina Faso declared war on ECOWAS if Niger is attacked. That was when ECOWAS held back from re-instated Mohammed Bazoum into power and could not attack Niger.

Why ECOWAS initially Decided to Attack Niger

Why did ECOWAS countries initially want to re-instated Mohammed Bazoum into power by attacking Niger? Well, the ECOWAS was sponsored by European Union to decide to attack Niger to re-instated Mohammed Bazoum into power.

How European Union is Now at a Disadvantage in Niger

The European Union Forgot that they had a contract with Niger to stop immigrants from going to Europe. The European Union shot itself on the foot. In a very clever way the European should have just shut up and let the military government in Niger be. That way the contract would have continue till this day. The European Union used to send 500 million Euros to Niger for the stopping of immigrants to Europe. They decided to stop the funding for the sake of Mohammed Bazoum. The military government in power in Niger decided to teach the European Union a lesson by allowing the immigrants to cross over to Europe.

Niger Solar Plant

Nigeria cut electricity that it was providing to Niger just because they want Mohammed Bazoum back in power. So what has Niger done about it. Niger electricity company has decided to build its own solar plant

The Niger electricity company, Niger Lake has commissioned a 30 megawatt photovoltaic plant to compensate for significant shortage since Nigeria stopped supplying electricity to Niger. This was announced be the Niger Minister of energy last Sunday. The plant will be equipped with more than 50,000 solar panels.

This solar plant will be a significant achievement for Niger. Because for four (4) month Niger has suffer electricity power cut. Due to the sanction imposed by ECOWAS.
